PARAGON Film First-Ever Video

June 18, 2006

Bassist Jan Bünning of the German power metallers PARAGON has posted the following message on the band's official web site:

"Last week we had no rehearsal because we shot our first-ever official video for our song 'Impaler'. Steve Ravic of the mighty Australian Metal Warriors filmed the video clip with us. One version of the clip will have extreme highlights from his movie 'The Warrior' and there will be a second version which will feature the band footage only. Look out for it later this year. We shot the clip in the catacombs of the Ballroom Hamburg and the raw material I already saw reminds me a littlel bit of JUDAS PRIEST's 'Painkiller' video. Steve already worked on clips e.g. for GAMMA RAY, GUN BARREL and RHAPSODY."

As previously reported, PARAGON have set "Gangland" as the working title of their new album, which they expect to begin recording later in the year. Songtitles set to appear on the CD include "Hammer of the Gods", "Souleaters", "Gangland", "Forgotten Prophecies", "Face of Death", "Halls of Doom" and "Agony".

PARAGON's latest album, "Revenge", was released in the U.S. in April 2005 via Magick Records. The CD was the follow-up to "The Dark Legacy", which was released in 2003 by Remedy.
